The objective of this assignment is to create a physical folder containing all the learning materials and print outs created through this task. This will be split in three sections:
A. Methods of recruitment - how does one enter the media industry?
B. Skills and qualifications - what is required to be recruited in the industry?
C. Presentation for employment & career development - a CV is necessary as well as other materials required for Media employment.
Section A
Two tasks:
- Explain the following methods of recruitment i.e. ways to find, apply and get a job within the industry. This can be through the national press, trade press or Internet.
- These three methods need explaining: word of mouth; personal contacts; networking.
Section B
Two tasks:
- Creative Skill Set - this is to be included as a necessary brief.
- Education - the required qualifications and necessary achievements need to be researched i.e. training schemes/apprenticeships.

- the employment and career developments researched throughout this assignment, and will compile all materials together.
